A padel centre in Nuneaton has been given the green light

Padel is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has approved an operator for the leisure unit within Grayson Place.

Corte Sport/Hayes Sports Partnership Ltd trading as ‘Te Amo Padel’ (Spanish for I love Padel) has been given the go-ahead.

They plan to use the space for a 'modern, high-quality padel and sports facility'.

Padel is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash.

It is played typically in doubles teams on an enclosed court.

Documents state that the new sports spaces could be open by Spring 2026 (subject to planning for external courts).
