Charnwood Borough Council is reminding residents directly affected by the house explosion in Birstall last week that it can offer advice and support on housing and council tax issues.
Following the incident on December 11, the Council has been in touch with most residents directly affected and offered advice.
The Council has also now set up a dedicated phone number to take any questions about council tax from residents who were affected. The number is 01509 632533 and can only help people directly affected by last week's incident.
If anyone needs advice on housing, then they can contact the housing needs team on 01509 634567 or 0333 200 8811.
Cllr Jonathan Morgan, Leader of Charnwood Borough Council, said: “This was a tragic incident for the Birstall community and our thoughts are with those affected.
“Our officers have already been in touch with people who were affected, including our housing team who were on site on the morning the incident happened.
“However, if anyone has any further questions then please get in touch as I want to make it clear that we will help people the best we can.
“Residents can also talk to their ward councillors who will no doubt be happy to support them.
“Once again, I would like to praise the community’s response to this tragedy. The support they have offered to people affected by this incident has been inspiring.”
