Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information following a distraction burglary in Nuneaton on Wednesday (5 June).
At around 1.45pm, a male and female knocked on the door of an elderly woman's house on The Long Shoot.
When the victim opened the door, the two suspects pretended to know her and hugged her, before entering the house.
The female spoke to the victim whilst the male went out of the room, and both suspects then left the house in the direction of the A5 on Watling.
The victim then discovered her purse and cash had been stolen, and her upstairs cupboards and drawers had been opened.
The suspects are described as a male around 17 years old, and a girl believed to be aged about 14.
