Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported assault in Nuneaton on Sunday 31st May.
It reportedly happened between 2.30am and 2.50am on Marlborough Road, close to Queen’s Road.
Police say the victim was walking down the road when he was approached by three men who reportedly assaulted him before leaving the scene on foot in the direction of Queen's Road.
The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained injuries to his back, stomach and ribs and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been released and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
The suspects are described as white, between 16 and 21 years of age with light coloured hair. One of the suspects was believed to be wearing white shorts and white sunglasses.
