The body of a man has been found at an address in Upper Bond Street, Hinckley.
Leicestershire Police were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service shortly after 11.30 am on Tuesday (21 June) following the discovery of a body.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
Officers have confirmed that a referral is being made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) as the police had previous contact with the man.
