Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Coucil win again
Nuneaton and Bedworth has yet again been recognised by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), as one of the West Midland’s best boroughs for small businesses.
For the third time in four years the Borough Council has won the ‘best procurement policy’ category at the FSB’s annual Local Small Business Friendly Awards 2019. The awards provide an opportunity for all councils in Coventry, Warwickshire & Solihull to make known any project or initiative that promotes and champions local economic development. .
Receiving the award, Cllr Julie Jackson, Leader of the Council said:
“Small businesses are a really important element of our local economy and we work hard to support them. I’m glad that our endeavours have been recognised through these awards.
“Our proactive work with small businesses helps them to make the most of the opportunities available locally. We pride ourselves on being a business-friendly borough and strive to encourage local entrepreneurs to grow and stay in the area."
