Witnesses are being sought to an assault in Bedworth on Thursday (August 10).
A woman in her 20s was sitting on a bench in Bedworth Reservoir on Coal Pit Fields Road at around 3.30pm when she saw two women on the other side of the reservoir.
One of the women is reported to have verbally abused the victim before approaching and assaulting her - causing her to fall to the ground.
The victim attempted to run away but was assaulted once more by one of the women. She suffered facial injuries and was treated by a paramedic.
The attackers made off in an unknown direction.
A 42-year-old woman from Bedworth arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and threats to kill in connection with the incident has been bailed until 30 August.
A 20-year-old woman from Bedworth arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and threats to kill in connection with the incident has been bailed until 4 September.
Enquiries are ongoing but officers are keen to speak to people who either witnessed the incident or were in the area at the time - particularly dog walkers.
