Nearly four months after two dogs went missing in a supermarket car park in Hinckley, the pets have been returned to their owners.
Dinky and Doris were taken from the boot of a Mercedes car that was parked in the Sainsbury's Car Park in the Crescent in Hinckley on 13th March.
The owner went into the supermarket at around 4.30pm and when she returned at 6.30pm, she discovered that the dogs had been taken.
The owner has offered a £1k reward for their safe return which increased to £2,000 and sparked a huge leafleting campaign.

The owner said she was contacted by someone who believed they had bought Dinky and Doris but said as the reward was offered on a “no questions asked” basis she would honour that.
