A sign thanking customers for 'many years' of support has been placed in the window of the shop.
The shop had already been closed due to lockdown restrictions.

"We are so sad to be saying goodbye. Thank you for all the support you have given us over so many years.
"We will missing seeing you!"

Jan Kirby, President of Hinckley Chamber of Trade, said in a Facebook post, "Sad to see this notice in the window of Dorothy Perkins in Castle Street.
"I would like to thank them on behalf of us the customers for their friendliness and service to us all over the many years they have been in our town."
One person commented, "Very sad day another long lived and well known brand gone from the High St."
Another added that it, "won't be the last" to go from the town centre.
