Police have named a man who died in a collision on the A47 last month.
It happened on Friday 17th January when a black Hyundai Veloster left the road and landed in a wooded area near to Peckleton Lane.
It happened a short distance from Desford Cross Roads.
The car was travelling towards Earl Shilton.
The driver – 22-year-old Cameron Hill, from Earl Shilton – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police would still like to speak to anyone who saw the collision occur, or the Hyundai prior to it taking place.
A 21-year-old man was voluntarily interviewed in connection with causing death by dangerous driving.
Detective Constable Anita Rose, from Leicestershire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) said: “My thoughts very much remain with Mr Hill’s family at this time.
“I would still like to speak to anyone who was travelling along the A47 when this collision took place, but has not yet come forward.
“Please cast your mind back. Do you remember seeing a black Hyundai Veloster at any point on your journey? If you have a dashcam in your vehicle, please check footage before it may be overwritten and if you think you have any information whatsoever, please contact police.”
