The victim is a 79-year-old man
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to a robbery where an elderly victim had his watch stolen.
The victim was waiting for a bus in Coventry Road at around midday on Saturday 25 September when a dark-coloured car pulled up and the driver asked for directions to the train station.
The victim got in the car with them and they drove to Willowbank Road, he was then pulled from the car and his watch was taken between midday and 12.15pm.
The car then drove off towards Hinckley town centre.
Detective Constable Tom White, from Hinckley CID, said: “This incident involved an elderly victim and I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this robbery or who saw a dark-coloured car in Coventry Road or Willowbank Road on 25 September."
Police are urging people to think back to Saturday and if anyone has CCTV or dashcam footage that might be helpful to get in touch.
