Event cancelled due to forecast of heavy rain

Residents of Shelthorpe were due to hold a community afternoon of events and activities.

Charnwood Borough council have cancelled a community event in Shelthorpe in Loughborough due to a forecast of heavy rain. 

A community action day had been arranged for Wednesday 11th October in partnership with Shelthorpe Community Association at Farnham Road Park. 

There was to be a number of events and activities on for children after school. 

The council has not issued a comment on whether the event will be re-scheduled.
