They have said they will be back stronger and better than ever.
A fire broke out in the cellar of The Pear Tree Inn in Woodhouse Eaves yesterday.
On Instagram, the restaurant posted that the fire 'spread quickly into the dining room, causing extensive smoke damage throughout the building.'
The Pear Tree Team, said" "If you have a reservation with us, we will be in touch directly. At this stage, it’s clear we will need to remain closed for at least a couple of weeks while we repair the damage and make sure everything is safe again.
We are still assessing the full extent of the situation, but this is just a chapter in our story. The Pear Tree has always been about resilience, community, and making people feel welcome. If you know us, you know we will be back — and we will be back stronger and better than ever."
