Leicestershire Fire and Rescue were called to a dwelling fire in Barlestone last night (30 October).
Fire engines from Market Bosworth, Coalville, Southern, Birstall, Western, Turntable Ladder from Central, Command Vehicle from Shepshed and Welfare Unit from Kibworth and Oakham were deployed to Newbold Road.
The fire crew found the roof of the property fully involved in the fire and one occupant suffered smoke inhalation.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue said they were going to re-inspect the property this morning (31 October).
