A woman was treated for smoke inhalation and a cat was rescued after a fire at a house in Loughborough.
Emergency services were called to Broadway Sunday morning just before 10'clock.
Two crews from Loughborough and one from Birstall were sent to the scene.
Leicestershire fire and rescue say the cause is believed to have been accidental due to unattended cooking.
