Fly tipping at a public car park in Nuneaton

Environmental enforcement officers in Nuneaton have released CCTV pictures of three people they want to speak to about flytipping.

During the incident on 30th December 2025, business waste was left in a public car park close to Lexington Court.

The Council wishes to speak to the three individuals within the photos in connection with the incident who were using a white Mercedes van, registration DK18 PNN.

• Ask for a waste carrier registration number
• Check it on the Environmental Agency’s public register or call 0300 065 3000
• Always get a receipt

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council operate a fixed penalty notice for offenders of fly-tipping which stands at £400, however offenders could face a fine up to £50,000 and a prison sentence of 12 months for a summary conviction.

Conversely, maximum fines are unlimited with prison terms up to five years if you get convicted in a Crown Court.

Cllr Tony Venson, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Enforcement, said:

“We have released these images as we would like to speak to the three individuals involved, the van used isn’t registered to a legitimate company so cannot be traced.

“The Council is committed to tackling fly tipping, taking action against those who chose to use Nuneaton and Bedworth as their own personal dump.”
