Emergency services were called to a house fire in Hinckley yesterday afternoon.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue received a 999 call at 16:07 and fire engines from Hinckley, Market Bosworth and southern went to the property on Laneside Drive.
Fire crews confirmed that the garage roof was on fire and that the flames had spread onto the roof of the house.
Smoke could be seen by Hinckley residents in the Stoneygate area of the town.
There were no casualties.
