Mohammed Ez-Zamel was last seen at 6.30pm on Monday 7 October in the area of Park Road, Coalville, Leicestershire.
The police say there is information to suggest he may have travelled to Nottinghamshire.
Mohammed has short dark brown hair, is a slim build and is approximately 5ft 6ins tall. When he was last seen he was wearing all black clothing.
