"It’s the perfect way to enjoy Queen’s Park with family, friends or neighbours."
The public has helped decide which films will be shown at an outdoor cinema evening in Queen’s Park in Loughborough next month.
Summer Cinema, organised by Charnwood Borough Council, takes place on Sunday, 13 July, from 12pm to 8pm and combines big screen entertainment, live performances, and family-friendly fun.
The public was invited to help choose the films via a poll on the Council's Facebook page. The film screenings have now been confirmed:
-
12.30pm - Encanto
-
3pm - Moana
-
5.30pm - Pitch Perfect
Please note: Films and start times are subject to change.
Councillor Jennifer Tillotson, the Council’s lead member for housing, economic development, regeneration and town centres, said: “The Summer Cinema event is all about creating special moments in the heart of our town.
“With free films, live entertainment and something for all ages, it’s the perfect way to enjoy Queen’s Park with family, friends or neighbours.
“We’re proud to support events like this that bring people together and celebrate our local community. I hope everyone has an amazing time.”
