A new Banking Hub for Hinckley town centre is expected to open in December, bringing face-to-face banking services to the town.
A new Banking Hub is set to open in Hinckley town centre, with work on its permanent home expected to begin this month.
Cash Access UK has signed a lease for the premises at 50 Castle Street, in the former card shop next to Holland & Barrett.
The fit-out work is expected to be completed in December 2026, although the timetable could change if any unforeseen issues arise.
Once open, the hub will provide everyday cash and banking services on behalf of participating banks.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council says it helped Cash Access UK find a suitable location for the new facility.
Council Leader Stuart Bray welcomed the news, saying the hub would bring useful face-to-face banking services into the heart of the town, making them easier for people to access.
Cash Access UK is expected to provide further updates as work progresses.
