Larege Fire at Industrial estate - South Bonington
Around 13 fire appliances at the scene of a fire on the Hathernware Industrial Estate, Sutton Bonington.
This is a large fire involving buildings, trailers, timber, pallets and cylinders - which is putting out a significant smoke plume.
This smoke plume is causing some local disruption and is impacting train lines in the area. Please also be aware if you live locally, and you have heard some loud bangs, that this is the cylinders currently involved in the fire - do not be alarmed.
Nottingham Fire and Rescue say they are working closely with Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service at this incident and are being supported by Nottinghamshire Police, East Midlands Ambulance Service and Network Rail.
They are asking everyone avoid the area whilst our crews work to get this fire under control and reduce the smoke plume. They expect to be at the scene for some time.
