Owners of HMS Pharmacy in Loughborough have decided to retire after 25 years.
The community pharmacy, based on High Street, dispenses an average of 10,500 items per month.
HMS Pharmacy was previously owned by Ben Modi of Highmark Services Ltd, who recently decided to sell the business after more than 25 years of ownership to enable him to retire.
Christie & Co has announced that the business has been purchased by Dr Milan Chande and his family.
Dr Milan bought his first dental practice in Leicester via Christie & Co in 2021, this is the family's first venture into pharmacy ownership.
Carl Steer, Director - Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “Following the recent completion of another pharmacy in the town, and with four more in the county to follow in the coming months, the outlook for pharmacy sales in the region looks positive.”
