The opening game of the Evo-Stik League 2018-19 season is on Saturday August 18th.
Loughborough Dynamo completed their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 away win at last season’s Evo-Stik Division One South champions Basford United.
Dynamo went in at half time with a one goal lead, Luke Thorogood scoring two minutes before the break.
Second half goals from Jordan Wilson after forty-nine minutes and Dan Gordon after sixty-two minutes gave Dynamo a healthy lead, before Courey Grantham pulled a goal back in the eighty-second minute.
Next up is the opening of the Evo-Stik League 2018-19 season on Saturday August 18th with the visit of Ossett United. This is the Yorkshire club’s first competitive fixture, as Ossett Albion and Ossett Town amalgamated in the Summer.
With the replacement of Division One North and South by Division One East and West, Dynamo will be facing a whole host of clubs for the first time in Division One East.
