The M1 has been closed in both directions between junctions 21 and 20 in Leicestershire following a crash.
In a statement Leicestershire police said: "we were called at 10.14am to a report of a collision on the M1 northbound between J20 and J21.
"It involved two HGVs and a van.
"One driver has been taken to hospital believed for treatment to minor injuries.
"Both carriageways, north and south, are currently closed while emergency services deal at the scene."
