Chase Kelly, aged 31 of Arley, Coventry, appeared in Birmingham Crown Court today (8th June).
The charge is in connection with the death of 84-year-old Mildred Whitmore on College Street, Nuneaton last Tuesday.
Kelly was arrested last week after the death of the great grandmother at her home of College Street
He has also been charged with Burglary in connection with the incident.
