A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder of David Darke in Appleby Magna.
36 year old Nathan Gothard of Church Street in Appleby Magna has been charged with murder after the death of 66 year old David Darke.
Police said Mr Darke died after sustaining a serious head injury after being assaulted outside a pub in the village of Appleby Magna on 21st December.
He later died in hospital in Nottingham.
Goddard is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 29 December.
