A 54-year-old man has been charged following an assault on Saturday 11 February in Derby Road, Shackerstone.
Peter Taroni, of Round Road, Birmingham, has been charged with assault by beating and using threatening and abusive words and behaviour.
He was due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 3 July.
