The store has reopened and police say the death is not suspicious.
The Asda superstore in Nuneaton has reopened after a man was found dead inside the store in the early hours of this morning.
Officers told Fosse 107: "Warwickshire Police were called to a supermarket on Newtown Road, Nuneaton shortly before 6am today (Tuesday 5 December). Officers and ambulance attended and a man was pronounced deceased at the scene. The death is being treated as not-suspicious and a post mortem will take place in due course."
Asda confirmed it is working with Police to establish the circumstances of the death but wished to make no further comment.
