Police are investigating after a man sustained a serious head injury during an altercation at The Felix Holt pub in Stratford Street, Nuneaton.
The incident happened at around 11.45pm on Saturday 18 April. The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Detective Inspector Oli Scarisbrick from Warwickshire Police said:
“Witnesses have told us the altercation took place on the stairs inside the pub. The victim suffered a serious head injury and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
“Our enquiries are ongoing as we work to identify and locate the person responsible. We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 458 of 18 April 2026. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
