Emergency Services were called to Earl Shilton.
Shortly after 4.15 pm on Tuesday, 30th September, a report was made to Leicestershire Police about the welfare of a man in Earl Shilton.
Further reports were made by other members of the public who had seen him and were concerned for his well-being.
A force spokesperson said: "Officers were deployed and located the man in Heath Street and provided first aid until the East Midlands Ambulance Service arrived. The man was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
"As part of the investigation, four men aged 49, 36, 31 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of supplying a class A drug. They have all been released on bail.
"His death is being treated as unexplained and further enquiries are being undertaken on behalf of HM Coroner."
