Council staff are at the Outwoods today to remind visitors of the rules around social distancing and to monitor the number of visitors.
It is after concerns were raised about people travelling long distances to parks and beauty spots in the region for exercise during lockdown.
The Government said people should "stay local" when they are taking part in exercise and are only allowed to do so with members of their household or alone with one person from another household.
People are being advised to stay in their town or village or use their nearest local park for exercise.
