Police are appealing for witnesses after the crash on Saturday morning.
Officers investigating a fatal collision in Belton, Leicestershire, earlier today (Saturday 14 October) are appealing for witnesses.
The collision occurred at 11.08am on Rempstone Road (B5324) and involved a motorcycle and Lexus CT200 car.
The motorcycle rider, a man, sustained fatal injuries. No one else was injured.
Rempstone Road remains closed while officers carry out further enquiries at the scene, it is likely to be re-opened by 4pm.
The motorcyclist was travelling from Belton towards the Shepshed turning and the car was travelling in the opposite direction.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or either vehicle beforehand is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 236 of 14 October.
