Rumours have been circulating that the park was to close in October 2021.
Last year the park successfully applied for permission to change the use of the land to a holiday park build 103 lakeside lodges on the site.
Earlier in 2021, Bosworth Water Park told Fosse107 that the move was something they were considering and no decisions had been made.
However a new application has been submitted to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council to 'discharge' one of its conditions.
The condition relates to colour of the walls and the roofing material.
The original application was granted on the condition that no day visitors would be allowed to use the site, thereby meaning only overnight guests could visit.
When contacted for comment a manager at the park said that no decision on closure had been made and that the rumours circulating that they would be closing in October were untrue.
