32-year-old Ronald James from Nuneaton died when a green Rover Metro hit a bollard in Wood Street.
A driver who died after a crash in Earl Shilton has been named.
32-year-old Ronald James from Nuneaton was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday 17th November when a green Rover Metro hit a bollard in Wood Street.
Around ten minutes before the incident police were called to a car park in the street following a report of criminal damage to a green Rover Metro.
When officers arrived the Metro had already left the scene.
Following enquiries, two men aged 19 and 32, have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and released pending further investigation.
DC Pete Davies from the force’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our investigations into the collision are continuing and we are still keen to speak to anyone who saw the collision in Wood Street or saw the car prior to the incident happening.
“If anyone was in the area of Wood Street or Leicester Road and saw the car between 10.50pm and 11pm please contact police. Information you have could help with our investigation.”
