A pedestrian has been left seriously injured following a collision in Hinckley this morning (Saturday 6 September).
Police received a call at 1.41am after a report that a pedestrian had been injured following a collision with an electric bike on Normandy Way.
The pedestrian, a man in his forties, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 19-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Leicestershire Police said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or the circumstances leading up to it to please get in touch.
"Alternatively, anyone who may a dash cam and may have captured something related to this incident we would also like them to contact us.”
