Peter Pizzeria, that has a pizza restaurant in Loughborough, has announced it will close the branch in Leicester city centre.
A post on the company's instagram, said that problems with the building on Welford Place had forced the closure.
The independent pizza chain, which started in Leicestershire in 2013, has three sites including in Baxter Gate in Loughborough and in Nottingham.
The pizzeria in Leicester is film themed and boasted "blockbuster pizza."
The company have said there is not yet a date for closing the restaurant in Leicester but it promised customers there would still be a presence in the city in some form.
Loughborough's pizzeria on Baxter Gate and Nottingham's Peter Pizzeria are not affected by the closure.
