Two people were seriously injured in Newtown Linford on 18th January
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after two people were seriously injured in a collision in Newtown Linford yesterday (Sunday 18 January).
The collision occurred around 8.49am on Warren Hill and involved one vehicle, a grey Cupra Formentor.
There were two occupants of the vehicle, the driver and a passenger; both sustained serious injuries and remain in hospital.
It is believed the car was travelling from Newtown Linford, towards the junction with Swithland Road, when it left the road and collided with a tree.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand, or has relevant dashcam footage, is asked to get in touch.
