Officers are currently carrying out a search of Stoney Cove in Stoney Stanton after concerns for the welfare of a man were received at 7.20am today (Monday 14 April).
The report related to a man who may have entered the water.
A search of the area is underway by the force’s Tactical Support Team (TST) and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the report.
The site has been closed off to allow officers to carry out their enquiries.
