Warwickshire police are appealing for witnesses to a reported robbery in Nuneaton.
In a statement a spokesperson from Warwickshire police said: "A man in his 20s was walking along Duke Street at 11am on Thursday 9th July when it's believed he was approached by two men, who assaulted him – causing him facial injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
"A quantity of money, an Armani watch and an Armani bag were taken from the victim but have been subsequently recovered."
A 20-year-old from Nuneaton arrested on suspicion of robbery has been released with no further action.
An 18-year-old man from Nuneaton arrested on suspicion of robbery has been bailed until 2nd August while enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Carl Buckley said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time and we’re keen for them to come forward.
"We are also keen to speak to people who saw the incident or any motorists who have dash cam footage. Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation.”
