Road and lane closures start from 1st June.
Leicestershire County Council has announced a series of road improvements as work continues on the development of Castle Acres, a large expansion of Fosse Park on the site of the former Everards brewery.
Works are due to start on Monday, 1st June and will take place at Fosse Park West, on the site of the former Everard Brewers and on Leicester’s Outer Ring Road (A563).
They say the works are required as part of planning obligations for the development.
Trevor Pendleton, cabinet member for highways and transport said: "Our highways team will be working around the clock to ensure these works are completed as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience these works will cause, we encourage people to visit the website to familiarise themselves with the closures before making their journeys."
The works are due to last up to 20 weeks with a schedule of both daytime and night-time working.
Initial works start with a series of lane closures, which is hoped to have minimal disruption to journeys. This will be followed by road closures to allow the installation of a new traffic signal system and road resurfacing.
