Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed on Coventry Road.
It happened in Coventry Road, at the junction with Northfield Road, at around 5.15pm on Monday 8th April.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking along the road with his girlfriend when a suspect ran towards the victim and pushed him up against the fence demanding him to hand over his watch and jewellery.
A vehicle, believed to be a Silver Renault Clio, was parked on Coventry Road and the suspect ran towards it, got into the passenger side before the vehicle has driven off.
Detective Constable 263 Kerry Willden, the investigating officer, said: “This happened on a busy road in the early evening. Please cast your mind back. Did you notice anything unusual? Did you see a car parked at the side of the road?
“If you have a dashcam in your vehicle, please check the footage to see if it has recorded anything that has not yet been overwritten. Any information you have could help with my investigation.”
