Memory books will be available which will then be shared with Miss Gilbert’s family.
Battling Brook Primary School in Hinckley is opening its doors to the community on Friday the 16th of August in memory of one of their teachers.
Miss Gilbert died on the 4th of August.
The school has posted on social media that they will be open for past and present families for a coffee morning on Friday 16th August 10:30-12:30 for the community to come together.
There will be memory books available for people to write messages which will then be shared with Miss Gilbert’s family.
The school has asked that any primary-age children are accompanied by an adult.
A memory book will also be placed in the main entrance Tuesday 27th August until Friday 30th August during school hours, for those who are not able to attend.
