Seven bailed after being arrested for suspected drug offences

Officers attended eight addresses on Friday 29th July and arrested five men and two women.

Seven people arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs in the Loughborough and Anstey areas have been released on bail.   

Officers attended eight addresses on Friday 29th July and arrested five men and two women.

Detective Inspector Charles Edwards said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing and we are continuing to work with partners including local councils to support those affected and take the required action.

“As a force we continue to tackle drug offending and to stop it from happening in our communities. We need your help to do this. Please continue to report any information you have in relation to drug offending to us so that the required action can be taken."

Suspected drugs and cash, among other items, were also recovered during the searches.

A full investigation remains ongoing.
