Small businesses in Nuneaton and Bedworth still have time to apply for cash to help them during the coronavirus pandemic.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council's opened its second phase application period for it's discretionary grant scheme.
It's for small businesses that don't qualify for other support schemes.
Companies which have received cash grants from any central government Covid-19 related scheme are ineligible for funding from the Discretionary Grants Fund.
Applications close on Monday 10th August at 5pm.
So far 92 of businesses have already been successful in receiving a Discretionary Grant and the Council has paid out £485,000 to date.
Councillor Julie Jackson, Leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council said: “We are delighted that we are able to open a second phase application period to give small businesses another chance to apply for the Discretionary Grant Scheme. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will continue to help businesses retain employment and provide support to get through these challenging circumstances.”
