The burglary was reported in Glenfield on 10th June.
Leicestershire police are appealing for information after a burglary in Glenfield.
It was reported that between 1.30am and 8am on Thursday 10 June a burglary took place at a property on Chestnut Road.
A ring of great sentimental value, containing the ashes of the owners’ farther, was among the items stolen, which also included a laptop, a pair of headphones and a small amount of cash.
PC Gareth Smith said: “This was a heart-breaking incident and we are extremely keen to return this ring to the owner.
“If you have seen the ring offered for sale or have any information that could help us, please get in touch.”
