There are going to be two more vegan markets in 2023.
Residents and visitors flocked to Loughborough on Sunday 12th March for the town's first vegan market of the year.
There were stalls offering vegan street food, artisan bakes, craft cheeses, ethical clothing and jewellery and charity stalls.
Charnwood Borough Council said there was a great atmosphere as the footfall figures in the town hit 8,811.
In 2022 there were two vegan markets and another two are planned for 2023.
Cllr Jenny Bokor, the Council’s lead member for Loughborough, said: “I’m so glad to see everyone enjoying the vegan market once again and it was a great atmosphere in the market place.
“We are very proud of our markets in Loughborough with a retail market on Thursday and Saturdays and a vintage market taking place on Friday each week.
“Lots of exciting events are planned for the town in 2023 and it has been a fantastic start to the year.”
