Three people have been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police were called shortly after 6.15pm on Monday evening (26 July) to a report of the death of a woman inside a property on Moorwood Crescent, Hartshill.
Detective Inspector Colette O’Keefe from Warwickshire Police said: “Officers attended the property where sadly a woman in her 40s was found deceased.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and we are now awaiting the full results of a post-mortem examination to help ascertain the exact circumstances. This is being treated as an isolated incident.
“Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends at this time.”
Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident. They have been released on police bail while enquiries are ongoing.
