"We hosted our first vegan market in May and there was a fantastic atmosphere in Market Place."
On Sunday the 16th of October Loughborough will welcome a vegan market for the second time.
There will be a variety of vegan street food, artisan bakes, craft cheeses, handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts and charity stalls lining the streets.
The town's first vegan market was held earlier this year and it was popular with residents and visitors.
Cllr Jenny Bokor, the lead member for Loughborough, said: "Following the successful event earlier this year, I’m really pleased the vegan market is returning to Loughborough.
“We hosted our first vegan market in May and there was a fantastic atmosphere in the Market Place! The event was very popular, and we expect hundreds of people will come along again to browse the excellent range of stalls and produce.”
The vegan market will take place in Loughborough Market Place between 10.30 am and 4 pm.
Gluten free options are available and well-behaved dogs are welcome. The event is also fully wheelchair accessible.
Lewis Beresford, VMCO’s Founder added: “We are so excited to be back in Loughborough. We work hard to find the country’s leading vegan producers, from street food vendors and bakers to ethical clothing and cosmetic producers.
“We also work with many local businesses and can’t wait to give all of these fantastic producers the platform they deserve and introduce them to the wonderful people of Loughborough!”
