An electronic brochure full of summer activities and events for young people has been released.
The in-depth guide to ‘What’s Going Down’ this summer has been released by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council.
It is a free electronic booklet aimed at 0 to 19-year-olds and is packed full of information to help families keep busy during the school holidays.
‘What’s Going Down’ can be viewed or downloaded for free
There is information on sports activities, a reading challenge at the libraries, and a whole variety of different events at locations throughout the borough.
There is also information on the children’s Snapdragon Festival taking place in Hinckley (3rd- 5th August 11 am to 3 pm).
Councillor Robin Webber-Jones, Children and Young People’s Champion at the Borough Council said: "With many families taking the decision to ‘staycation’ at home this year I am delighted that once again we have been able to pull together this essential summer activity and event guide. It is a great resource with details on a wide range of activities and events for babies, children, young people and their families in Hinckley and Bosworth along with some helpful information and advice.
"With the cost of living increasing, I am sure that this guide will help families plan days out helping them to spread any financial cost although I am pleased to say many activities are free, please download and take a look."
