Firefighters in Loughborough say there is a serious safety concern after bins were set on fire in the town.
Over the bank holiday weekend, crews were called to multiple bins on fire in Cumberland Road, Storer Road and George Street. Crews said they fought the flames in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Firefighters say the anti-social behaviour is now a serious safety concern.
Due to repeated anti-social behaviour and serious safety concerns, a Public Space Protection Order is currently in force locally to protect residents and properties.
Residents are urged to comply with this, avoid leaving bins outside properties except during permitted times, prevent bins from overflowing, and remain alert.
